ABOUT US
Who
Customised Clothing is made up of dedicated individuals who love decorated clothing. We still can’t wait to see what the design that was on a computer screen a few days ago looks like on a t-shirt, fleece, jacket, etc. Our team is a varied bunch of people who make customer service a priority. We are not a faceless company so please feel free to check out our gallery.
What
Customised Clothing is a promotional clothing company. Our clients range from blue-chip companies and SMEs through to church groups and student clubs, with the odd international athlete or team somewhere in between. We take a brief from a client, create the artwork (if it needs making) and make sure that the staff uniforms, team kit, promotional t-shirts, or whatever it may be, is delivered on time and looks stunning. We have a portfolio on the site so you can see who we have worked for and some testimonials.
When & Where
Customised Clothing was introduced into the market in 2008 when we evolved from Xpress Promotions based in Waterlooville into Customised Clothing now based in our new unit i Droxford, Hampshire.
CCL is a child of Mega Sports Holdings Ltd a company established for over 20 Years.
Why
Customised Clothing was born because we were disappointed with the level of customer service and indifferent attitudes we received from some printers and embroiders when we were ordering kit for the various sports teams we were involved with at the time. We decided to set up a company that delivered on its promises, offered a cool range of products rather than being tied to just one brand of generic clothing and put ethics, staff benefits and quality on the priority list.
How
Customised Clothing leverages its large buying power to buy garments direct from manufacturers or wholesalers in the UK, Europe, the USA and Asia. We keep our overheads low by not having expensive retail outlets and outsource production to a core set of suppliers who each have different skills so we can ensure the right job is done by the right people, rather than having our own set of machines and trying to be a jack-of-all-trades.
For example, twenty thousand t-shirts orders need to go to Pete in London because he has the kit (and the staff) to get the job done on time and on budget. Dave in Nottingham is a wizard at short lead times so if you have a tight deadline – no problem! Steve in Liverpool has made colour separations and process work an art form, whilst Jono in Hendon can get the clothing sample on a motorbike and on its way to Soho in the time it takes you to read this paragraph. It is a great network!
We prefer to screen print rather than use the heat transfer or dye sublimation techniques that most t-shirt websites offer because the results are so much better and will last for years if cared for properly, however we do have DTG machines in place for small runs with complex design's. As well as screen printing, we offer embroidery, neck labelling.
Through this simple business model which focuses on ‘high-touch’ customer service, low overheads and specialist suppliers, Customised Clothing can offer you the same or better prices than you could get by going direct to the trade and allows you, the customer, to get on with what is important to you, whether it is training for the 2012 Olympics, winning that big direct marketing contract or simply sitting back and relaxing.
